Caledonia
I designed this pattern for the lovely members of my Facebook group, who voted on the theme of a Scottish Landscape.
This pattern has influences from various places in Scotland that are close to my heart.
The Castle shown is based on Castle Campbell in the village of Dollar where I grew up.
The standing stones are based upon the Machrie Moor Stones on the Isle of Arran.
The mountains are based upon the mountain ranges within Glen Coe in the Highlands of Scotland.
I had so much fun drawing the design, and I really hope you like it, and that it makes you think of my beautiful home in Scotland.
Three PDFs are available, one using US terms, one using UK terms and a separate PDF that is Knit Companion compatible.
This design looks great either in two colours, or you could go for it and go full mosaic tapestry with many colours. The choice is yours.
Please note that this pattern does not give instructions on tapestry mosaic crochet.

As you know this pattern is completely free, but if you would like to donate a few pennies to my yarn fund, you can do so with the Paypal button at the top of the page. You don't have to of course, and I won't be irked if you don't.
Just remember to share the photos of your finished blanket so I can see what you make.
